Haven't been feeling well :/

Have a doctor's appointment tomorrow.  Not looking forward to it but I can't put it off any longer.  I'm going to have to schedule surgery to remove my gall bladder.  The pain has become constant and before it gets any worse I need to have it removed.  I get so nervous and anxious when it comes to the doctor or dentist.  I'm a big scaredy cat. 

On a brighter financial note, I absolutely kicked butt this month on Ebay.  We needed every penny to get through the month so I'm happy my hard work paid off.  As of today I have made a total of $530 for the month of September. I'm hoping I can keep up my sales through October.  I recently paid bills so anything I make will go towards medical bills.  Also, both the kiddos have fall festivals at school so we will put a little aside for that.  I updated my debt totals and I'm not happy with the total.  I'm disappointed that we made no where near the progress we wanted to make this year but this whole process has been a learning experience.  Either we continue on the path we are on and struggle from month to month or we work towards getting our financial act together.  The end result being our financial freedom which makes me happy just thinking about it.

Thank you Lena :) I cannot complain, I know no matter how bad I'm feeling right now others out there are dealing with worse. So I have to be thankful that this is something that can be resolved.

Life, Dad update and America 2021

So it has been 10 months since the pandemic changed how we live. It feels like much, much longer.  Kiddo1 and Kiddo2 are learning from home. It has been a challenge but they have adapted. Mr. Man has had to make changes at his job. His work is pretty stressful and the changes due to the pandemic have only added to his and his coworkers' stress levels. As for myself, change has been difficult on many fronts.  Caring for Dad in this third year was the biggest challenge. Life changes due to the Corona Virus pandemic

So it has been quite a while since my last post. Between caring for Dad and my homelife there is not much room for much else. Friday was my last day of caretaking for the foreseeable future since Kiddo1 and Kiddo2 are not at home and starting school online due to the Corona virus pandemic. Dad is doing as well as can be expected. My siblings will continue caring for him. Adjusting to life in these times has not been easy. Store shelves are empty, friends and family are losing their jobs and the healthcare system here is beginning to show signs of strain. Everyone is tired, scared and full of anxiety. It is hard to be optimistic but everyone is trying. It is just scary times when you cannot find toilet tissue, milk, eggs or bread. Store lines are long and at times tempers may flare. People are trying to stay sane but with each day it gets a bit more difficult. We are all coping as best as can be expected. Starting Money Jar System next week!

So I spoke with Mr. Man about using the money jar system.  He is sort of on board.  He said he can stay within a budget for the week (which I know he can) but he prefers to use his debit card. All that will be in the account is his allotted money for the week so it should work out fine. Next week we will start and  I'm excited but also a bit nervous about ending up with 5 empty jars! This week I have been organizing so I have set aside a few things to sell on Ebay.  Whatever money I make will go towards 1 particular credit card and medical expenses.  I will be updating my debt totals next week which I'm actually looking forward to doing!
